- Quotes Due
All quotes are due on 5/18/2016 by 10:00 a.m. for the purchase of COPY PAPER FOR CITYWIDE USE. Purchase will include approximately 460 cases of standard copy paper. (Sizes and brightness listed below under Specifications) This paper will be ordered at various times throughout our fiscal year (July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017) to be delivered to four local addresses:
1. City Hall - 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540
2. Public Services Compound - 350 Marine Boulevard, Jacksonville, NC 28540 Bldg. A,B or C
3. Center for Public Safety - 200 Marine Boulevard, Jacksonville, NC 28540
4. Recreation – 100 Recreation Lane, Jacksonville, NC 28546
The listed quantities are not guaranteed to be ordered, only an estimate based on prior usage. Bidder will invoice the City of Jacksonville for paper as it is ordered or monthly. Interested bidders may submit bids online at http://www.bidnetdirect.com/north-carolina/city-of-jacksonville or sign the attached Request for Quotes and either email it to astewart@jacksonvillenc.gov or deliver to Angela Stewart at the Finance Division at Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540 by the due date listed above.
- Qualifications
If not currently a Vendor for The City of Jacksonville, the successful bidder must provide a Vendor Application and W-9 to the City of Jacksonville. The City is exempt from Federal Excise Tax. Our Federal Tax Identification Number is 56-6000232. The City is
not exempt from NC State & County Sales Tax. Such taxes shall be shown as a separate item on all invoices.
- Rights
The Jacksonville City Council reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all bids, and to accept that Bid or Bids which appear to be in the Owner's best interest. Also, if in the judgment of The City of Jacksonville, the Bidder is not capable of providing the desired product in accordance with the Request for Quotes for any reason, the City of Jacksonville shall have the right to cancel or terminate the Contract by giving the current supplier seven (7) days written notice.
