22989 - 22989 - MVHC Midvalley Health Center - Dermatology

Portions of Midvalley Health Center, Department of Dermatology on level 3, 4 and 5 will require renovation of underutilized space and small provider offices into additional exam rooms and infill the Level 4 Atrium floor to create a central Provider Lounge in the SE corner of Level 3. This will increase the total number of Dermatology Exam rooms by 18, which would support an additional 6 Providers.
The project scope includes partial demolition, remodel, construction, floor expansion at 4th floor atrium infill, and outfitting of approximately 8,583 SF total on level 3, 4, and 5 of Bldg. 3100.

The building is a five-story medical office with a penthouse constructed in 2015, site 11. The fourth floor infill is one of the options being considered in a larger remodel study. The building has two stacking atriums in the southeast corner.  The proposed infill would be at the lower portion of the upper atrium.

The work is anticipated to be constructed as one project with work taking place in separate areas at a time. Reference drawing scope of work.

The University is seeking an A/E team to provide full design services including architecture, interior design, MEP engineering, coordination of FF&E location and associated clearances, and power requirements etc. Including work for utility connections on the adjacent floors. Structural services are necessary to verify modifications to the existing space atrium infill. Full design and interior demolition documents will be necessary.
