Summary of Specifications:
The San Antonio Independent School District (SAISD) requests interested parties to submit proposals for “Wireless Connectivity for Elementary Schools - Phase III and High Schools (E-Rate)” to be installed at twenty (20) schools. Initial start-up is expected to commence July 1, 2013. This award is contingent upon funding and no guarantee of a minimum amount of work is implied or expressed by this Request for Proposal. Services required shall be determined solely by the needs of the District. Proposals will be accepted at the Front Desk of the Office of the Director, Materials Management/Purchasing Department, 1215 Austin Street, San Antonio, Texas 78208-1097. Proposers should ensure that responses are delivered on or before Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at 3:30 PM (CST) to the Front Desk as this is the location of the official time clock and all responses are required to be clocked in and time stamped. Late responses will not be considered for any reason. The San Antonio Independent School District’s local area network and wide area network infrastructure consists of 100% Cisco products; therefore Proposer’s must have extensive experience and knowledge of Cisco products. NOTE: This award will be contingent upon the District receiving "E-Rate" funding from the Schools and Libraries Division (SLD), of the Federal Communications Commission. No purchases are guaranteed. Any and all purchases made via this proposal are contingent upon the availability of E-Rate funding, District funding and Board approval. If E-Rate funding is not allocated, this solicitation will become null and void.
