FELPS is seeking a 300’ self-supporting communications tower for a new facility. The tower will be used for AMI, LMR, SCADA, and other IP purposes. Installation of communications equipment will not be included with this project and will be done at a later point after completion of this project. All soil reports, costs of facilitation of any required permits and/or licensing, shipping/freight, materials, and labor should be included in the quote as a turnkey project cost. For this item, two options should be given: one quote for a tower design that will accommodate planned equipment (see pg. 8) loading + 50% for future growth, and a separate quote for a tower design that will accommodate planned equipment (see pg. 8) loading + 100% for future growth.
We are also seeking a 10’x20’ prefabricated concrete communications shelter to place at the base of the tower. Fiber and 208VAC conduits are already run to the designated location of the tower and shelter. Foundation, grounding, and soil reports must be included in the quote as a turnkey project cost.
