The South Kingstown School District (SKSD) Purchasing Office is soliciting Requests for Proposals from qualified organizations to provide wrap-around summer programming (“Camp”) to students enrolled in the district's summer school programs. The summer school program (Summer Learning Academy) is open to any student with a PLP (personal literacy plan), PMP (personal math plan) or PBP (personal behavior plan) or IEP that does not include other ESY services. The Summer Learning Academy will take place from July 11, 2022 through to August 8, 2022 and will be from 8:30 to 11:30 Mondays, Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Proposals will include “Camp” on non-school days ( Fridays) and after the summer program on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. “Camp(s)” will provide a variety of opportunities for social and emotional learning to take place in a healthy, fun and supportive environment complementing participation in the Summer Learning Academy.
