In accordance with Sec. 21-54 of the City’s Code of Ordinances, Sole Source Verification, an official notice is hereby given as follows

Estimated Amount of Procurement: $100,000.00
General Description of Goods or Services to be acquired:
The City of Providence Fire Department currently has nine Pierce fire apparatus, acquired in 2021, and an additional six Pierce vehicles are on order. Each vehicle is required to be operationally ready as a first response vehicle. These vehicles are subject to all maintenance, accident repairs, warranty work, and service, which is exclusive to this vendor. The requested amount is based on historical spending data and future needs.
Allegiance Fire & Rescue is the exclusive dealer for the sale, service, parts, and warranty of custom and commercial fire apparatus manufactured by Pierce in the states of Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
