Bids for the Elevator Modernization Project at city owned property located at 127 Main Street will be received by the City of Laurinburg at the office of the Budget & Management Services Director, City Hall, 303 W. Church Street, Room 244, Laurinburg, NC, until 5:00 P.M. local time on Thursday, February 5, 2026. After this deadline, bids will be evaluated with the intent to award a contract to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder, taking into consideration quality, performance, and time specified in proposals for the performance of the contract. This project will be funded with grant funds received from the N.C. Department of Commerce’s Rural Transformation Grant Fund and Rural Grant Programs Fund.
The project consists of providing the necessary labor, equipment, and materials to perform the complete modernization of the elevator in the building at 127 Main Street, in accordance with the scope of work in the bid documents. Bidders must complete the vendor registration process to login and obtain a copy of the bid documents.
Bids will be received for a single prime contract. Bids can be submitted via email to hhaywood@laurinburg.org or online through the City’s bid submittal portal where the bid documents are obtained.
