Due to regulations mandated by the Federal Transit Administration, our bidding process was slightly modified to accommodate these guidelines. Accordingly, the City of Jacksonville Fleet Maintenance Center is required to re-send out any Request For Quotes containing parts or services used by the City Transit system. Sorry for the inconvenience. The Fleet Maintenance Center is sending out Requests for Quotes (RFQ) on providing 24 hour towing services for vehicles/equipment for the Fleet Maintenance Center, City of Jacksonville. We are asking for a guaranteed price starting July 1st, 2014 through June 30, 2015, for a period of 1 year. (If you cannot give a price for 1 year, please specify for how long). Please give a price on all towing services listed below. If you cannot supply a service, please note that in the remarks column. Please list any additional services with a price quote.
We ask that you submit your quote to the Fleet Maintenance Center no latter than 2:00 p.m. on July 14, 2014. You may fax, mail, e-mail or hand deliver the quotes back to City of Jacksonville Fleet Maintenance. The City currently has 10 Transit Buses, 8 large & 2 small, in the next few months the city will have 13 all large buses. If you would like to see the buses before you send in your quote, please feel free to stop by the city garage.
Please note that if you are awarded the bid for towing, your business will be required to add the City onto your insurance as additionally insured.
