Summary of Specifications:
The City of Jacksonville is requesting BIDS for Storm Debris Removal-Northeast Creek Park located in Jacksonville, North Carolina.
All bids are to be returned to Michael Liquori by 3:00 PM on May 12, 2011 by fax at 910-938-5069 or the Parks Division at City of Jacksonville Recreation & Parks Department, located at 1125 Commons Drive North, Jacksonville, NC 28540.
A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on Monday, May 9, 2011 at 9:00 am. Location of this meeting is Northeast Creek Park, Boat Ramp, 910 Corbin Road, Jacksonville, NC 28546.
The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined and/or obtained at the office of Contract Specialist, 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540 or by emailing Amanda Griffith, agriffith@ci.jacksonville.nc.us. Persons requesting shipment of documents shall bear the additional, non-refundable cost of shipment.
The Jacksonville City Council reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all bids, and to accept that Bid or Bids which appear to be in the Owner's best interest.
The successful bidder will be required to commence work under this Contract within 3 days of written Notice of Award from the Owner and shall fully complete all work there under within Fourteen (14) consecutive calendar days from and including said date.
