Summary of Specifications:
The City of Jacksonville is requesting BIDS for the residential construction of 307 S. Shore Drive located in Jacksonville, North Carolina. Description: Construct a 1258 square foot single family house with three (3) Bedrooms, two (2 ) Full Bathrooms, Kitchen and Dining Room, Living Room, Front Porch, Back Stoop, Closets, Washer and Dryer area, Utility Room, and Crawl Space. The front porch shall be of concrete, rails, and decorative columns. (See picture of house and attached floor in plans). The exterior of the house shall be covered using builder's grade vinyl siding. The color of the siding will be selected by the Community Development Division. The foundation shall be covered using brick veneer selected by the Community Development Division. Completed house shall be built in accordance with NC State Building Code and floor Plans.
All bids are to be returned to Tony Isler by 5:00 PM on November 21, 2008 at the Community Development Division at Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540.
The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined and/or obtained at the office of Community Development Division at Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540. Persons requesting shipment of documents shall bear the additional, non-refundable cost of shipment.
The Jacksonville City Council reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all bids, and to accept that Bid or Bids which appear to be in the Owner's best interest.
