Summary of Specifications:
The City of Jacksonville is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from Architectural Firms for the planning and design of an expansion to the City of Jacksonville Public Services Complex to accommodate existing and future needs. The Public Services Complex is a compound of six buildings comprising 61,900 square feet on approximately 90 acres. The Complex currently provides administrative offices, work and storage space for five Divisions including: Fleet Maintenance, Streets, Utilities Maintenance, Sanitation, and Buildings and Grounds.
This project will be funded in part by the Federal Transportation Administration and as such the Firm must agree to abide by all local, state, and federal rules and regulations as identified in Attachment A. It is the Firm’s obligation to comply with all applicable laws and regulations as set forth to ensure the City is eligible to seek reimbursement of germane expenditures.
The selected Firm should be prepared to have the detailed analysis and report ready within 45 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. Based on these findings the project should be ready for bid within 195 days of the Notice to Proceed.
Statement of qualifications shall be submitted to the Engineering Division, Department of Public Services, City of Jacksonville, PO Box 128, Jacksonville, NC 28541, no later than 5:00 PM, September 12, 2008. Seven copies shall be submitted. The Firm will submit along with the RFQ, the name, address and Project Manager to be associated with this project.
The City of Jacksonville reserves the right to reject any and all submittals.
