RFP-Rec - Request for Proposals - Recreation Master Plan Levels of Service

Summary of Specifications:
The City of Jacksonville is soliciting a Request for Proposals (RFP) from qualified Recreational Planning Consultants to prepare a comprehensive Recreation Master Plan. This plan will be used as a guide to meet the City’s recreational facility and service needs over the next twenty (20) years. Consultant services are required in the preparation of a level of service-based Master Plan to assess the current status of Jacksonville Recreation and Parks Department and to develop an action plan to meet the future needs of the citizens as it relates to recreation and parks facilities, programs and open space areas in the City and primary growth areas. 

The selected Consultant should be prepared to have a first draft of the Comprehensive Recreation Master Plan completed within ninety (90) days from the Notice to Proceed followed by a second draft due within thirty (30) days. The final Master Plan would be presented to City Council for consideration within thirty (30) days following the submittal of the second draft. As part of the Statement of Qualifications, the Consultant shall submit a realistic timeline recognizing that the City would like the final Master Plan in place by January 2010. 

The City of Jacksonville reserves the right to reject any and all submittals.
