Summary of Specifications:
The City of Jacksonville is soliciting for proposals for catering services for this year's Christmas Party. The work shall include furnishing all equipment, materials, tools, labor, transportation, and supervision necessary for the completion of the work.
All proposals are to be returned to Ms. Nancy Ortiz by 5:00 PM on October 24, 2008 at the Human Resources Department at Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540.
The City of Jacksonville is interested in obtaining proposals for this year’s Christmas party which will take place on Friday, December 12, 2008 at the Jacksonville Commons Recreation Center. It is the bidder’s responsibility to supply food, utensils, plates, napkins, cups, and beverages for 400 people. City staff will be available to assist with serving the food and drinks. It is the bidder’s responsibility to set-up the morning of the event and clean-up after the event. Set-up includes but is not limited to warming trays and all related serving utensils as well as the tables and table cloths for the serving table. At the conclusion of the event, caterer is responsible for cleaning up the area to be left in the same manner as it was found.
The City is interested in serving ham, turkey, roast beef, rolls, corn, stuffing, green beans, mashed potatoes and gravy along with sweet and unsweetened (no lemon) tea. This City is interested in receiving quotes for the services provided herein with two possibilities:
Option 1 – To offer lunch from 11 AM to 1 PM Option 2 –To offer lunch from 11 AM to 2 PM.
The City will only choose one option. The City reserves the right to chose the proposal which appears to be in the best interest of the City.
