The City of Jacksonville is requesting BIDS for Richard Ray Park Upgrade Project located in Jacksonville, North Carolina:
Description: The Richard Ray Park Upgrade Project includes the installation of four foot wide sidewalk, flagpoles, lighting and electrical service. The project is located at Richard Ray Park, Jacksonville Commons, corner of Commons Drive and Gateway North in Jacksonville, NC. The project consists of grading, forming and pouring of approximately 575 linear feet of sidewalk, installation of two 25 foot flagpoles and one 30 foot flagpole, installation of flagpole lighting fixtures and electrical service for a picnic shelter. The work includes all equipment, labor, material, and services required for the Richard Ray Park Upgrade Project as described in the supplied project description, specifications and drawings.
All bids are to be returned to Jim Higgins by 4:00 PM on October 22, 2009 at the Engineering Division at Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540.
The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined and/or obtained at the office of the Engineering Division at Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540. Persons requesting shipment of documents shall bear the additional, non-refundable cost of shipment.
The Jacksonville City Council reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all bids, and to accept that Bid or Bids which appear to be in the Owner's best interest.
