The City of Jacksonville is requesting BIDS for Transit System Bus Shelters Assembly and Installation Re-Bid located in Jacksonville, North Carolina:
Description:. The City of Jacksonville is requesting Bids for the assembly and installation of 12 Bus Stop Shelters with Solar Lighting Systems. Each Bus Stop Shelter is constructed of aluminum tubular materials, glass and plastic. Each unit will be broken down into four side assemblies and one roof assembly. Refer to the attached drawings for shelter size and related components. The shelter shall be assembled per the manufacture’s provided instructions and hardware. The solar lighting unit mounts to the top of the shelter and is shipped assembled. The solar collection unit will mount to a bracket attached to the roof structure of the shelter. The light fixture will require mounting in the interior of the shelter and the wiring harness connected to the solar collection unit. The assembled bus shelter will be mounted on existing concrete pads at twelve locations throughout the City.
All bids are to be returned to Jim Higgins by 5:00 PM on July 27, 2010 at the Engineering Division at Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540.
The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined and/or obtained at the office of the Engineering Division at Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540. Persons requesting shipment of documents shall bear the additional, non-refundable cost of shipment.
The Jacksonville City Council reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all bids, and to accept that Bid or Bids which appear to be in the Owner's best interest.
