Summary of Specifications:
The City of Jacksonville is requesting BIDS for Jack Amyette Recreation Center Brick Removal located in Jacksonville, North Carolina:
Description: Work shall include all necessary labor, material and equipment to remove a portion of the brick veneer from the façade of the Jack Amyette Recreation Center in Jacksonville, NC. The Jack Amyette Recreation Center is located at 1825 South Drive. The project includes the removal and disposal of brick located on the front building façade; the disconnection of electrical fixtures and the necessary clean up of the work area.
All bids are to be returned to Jim Higgins by 5:00 PM on Thursday, December 18, 2008 at the Engineering Division at Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540.
There will be a MANDATORY pre-bid meeting on December 15, 2008 at 10:00 AM at the job site located at 1825 South Drive.
The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined and/or obtained at the office of Engineering Department at Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540. Persons requesting shipment of documents shall bear the additional, non-refundable cost of shipment.
The Jacksonville City Council reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all bids, and to accept that Bid or Bids which appear to be in the Owner's best interest.
LICENSURE: BIDDERS must be a licensed General Contractor. A Business Privilege License is required to engage in business in the City of Jacksonville.
