The City of Jacksonville is requesting BIDS for Jack Amyette Activities Building Project located in Jacksonville, North Carolina:
Description: The Jack Amyette Activities Building Upgrade Project includes the replacement of interior and exterior doors, installation of two handicap ramps and platforms, sidewalks, three wheelchair curb ramps and handicap parking spaces. The project is located at 1825 South Drive in Jacksonville, NC. The project consists of, but is not limited to, demolition and replacement of the existing interior and exterior doors, installation of new drywall, modification of existing glass doors, new handicap curb ramps, handicap entrance ramps and landing platforms, new sidewalks, striping of handicap parking spaces, lighted exit signs and painting. The work includes all equipment, labor, material, and services required for the Jack Amyette Activities Building Upgrade Project as described in the supplied project description and specifications.
All bids are to be returned to Jim Higgins by 3:00 PM on June 29, 2010 at the Engineering Division at Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540.
The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined and/or obtained at the office of the Engineering Division at Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540. Persons requesting shipment of documents shall bear the additional, non-refundable cost of shipment.
The Jacksonville City Council reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all bids, and to accept that Bid or Bids which appear to be in the Owner's best interest.
PRE-BID MEETING: A pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for June 22, 2010 at 10:00 AM in Meeting Room A of Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540 followed by a site visit.
