Summary of Specifications:
INTRODUCTION: The City of Jacksonville is requesting proposals for pest control services to include the following items. A complete Scope of Work is included in this Request for Proposal as Exhibit B.
• Quarterly pest control and any follow up visits as needed for the City of Jacksonville, to include the inside and outside perimeter of the building.
• Treatment will include servicing all entrances, foyers, hallways, offices, snack areas, and restrooms.
• Pest control services shall cover ants, roaches, spiders, commensal rodents (mice, moles, rats) and silverfish, to include baiting and installing monitors, which will be checked ten (10) days after installation and treatments of all drains and water storage.
• Only chemicals registered with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the North Carolina Department of Agriculture shall be used. All chemicals shall be applied as directed by the manufacturer’s label. All technicians shall be registered or certified by the Structural Pest Control Division, North Carolina Department of Agriculture. • Pest control services shall be rendered on a date and time to be agreed upon by the City of Jacksonville’s Department Heads and a representative of the pest control company.
• Any concerns arising between regular scheduled visits shall be serviced on the next working day following receipt of the phone call to the pest control company at no additional cost.
All proposals are to be returned to Allen Baker by 3:00 pm on Friday, May 16, 2014.
