Summary of Specifications:
The City of Jacksonville is requesting proposals from qualified banking institutions to provide banking services, effective December 2008 for a period of four years ending November 2012. The objectives of this request for proposal are to identify the banking institutions that can offer the highest quality services at the lowest cost to the taxpayers. This objective is the same as all other goods and services placed on a competitive bidding approach by the City. The Finance Department, upon request, will supply additional information, if available, at a preproposal conference for all the banking institutions interested in submitting a proposal. The preproposal conference will be held at 2:00 p.m. on October 8, 2008 at City Hall, 815 New Bridge Street, in Meeting Room A to answer questions about the engagement. Proposals must be received by Gayle S. Maides, Assistant Finance Director, at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, N.C. by 2:00 p.m. on October 23, 2008.
