The City of Jacksonville is requesting BIDS for Softball Fields Concession Building Site Preparation Project located in Jacksonville, North Carolina:
Description: The Softball Fields Concession Building Site Preparation Project includes the installation of a foundation pad, utility services and sidewalks. The project site is located adjacent to 100 Recreation Loop in Jacksonville, NC. The work consists of, but is not limited to, the installation of a stone pad foundation; water, sewer and electrical services, forming and pouring sidewalks, re-grading of the disturbed areas and sodding. The Contractor shall furnish all equipment, labor, materials and all else required for the project as described in the supplied project description, specifications, drawings and contract documents.
All bids are to be returned to Jim Higgins by 5:00 PM on March 15, 2012 at the Engineering Division at Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540.
A pre-bid meeting has been scheduled in the Johnson Boulevard Conference Room of Jacksonville City Hall at 9:00 AM on March 12, 2012 to be immediately followed by a site visit.
The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined and/or obtained at the office of the Engineering Division, at Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540. Persons requesting shipment of documents shall bear the additional, non-refundable cost of shipment.
The Jacksonville City Council reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all bids, and to accept that Bid or Bids which appear to be in the Owner's best interest.
