Summary of Specifications:
The City of Jacksonville is requesting BIDS for Phase II-Construction, Demolition and Vegetative Debris Removal and Disposal located in Jacksonville, North Carolina:
Description: Phase II Debris Removal and Disposal is to include gathering, loading, hauling and disposal of Vegetative Debris from roads, rights-of-way and designated Public Property within the incorporated limits of the City. In addition, Phase II Debris Removal and Disposal is to include gathering, loading, hauling Construction and Demolition Debris from roads, rights-of-way and designated Public Property within the incorporated limits of the City to the destination facility named in the Technical Specifications Section 2.06.
All bids are to be returned to Johnny Stiltner by 5:00 PM on April 30, 2009 at the Streets Division at Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540.
The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined and/or obtained at the office of Streets Division, 350 B S. Marine Blvd, Jacksonville, NC 28540. Persons requesting shipment of documents shall bear the additional, non-refundable cost of shipment.
The Jacksonville City Council reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all bids, and to accept that Bid or Bids which appear to be in the Owner's best interest.
