Summary of Specifications:
The City of Jacksonville is requesting BIDS for the Installation of 85 AMR Meters located in Jacksonville, North Carolina to install 85 AMR meters within the City limits of Jacksonville. Work to be performed under this Contract related to the installation of 85 AMR Meters includes, but is not limited to, materials and labor for the installation of 85 AMR Meters ranging in size from 0.62” to 4” Meters. This includes, but not limited to, the removal of existing sod, asphalt, concrete and meters and the replacement of such in addition to all other associated work required to complete this project.
All bids are to be returned to Illya Burke by 5:00 PM on November 7, 2008 at the Water Billing Division at Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540.
The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined and/or obtained at the office of Finance Department at Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540. Persons requesting shipment of documents shall bear the additional, non-refundable cost of shipment.
The Jacksonville City Council reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all bids, and to accept that Bid or Bids which appear to be in the Owner's best interest.
