The City of Jacksonville is requesting BIDS for Cold Patch Storage Pad located in Jacksonville, North Carolina:
The Cold Patch Asphalt Storage and Dewatering Facility Projects include the construction of a cold patch asphalt storage pad and modifications to the existing dewatering facility. The project is located on the grounds of the City of Jacksonville Public Services Complex at South Marine Blvd in Jacksonville, North Carolina. The project consists of, but is not limited to, concrete work to construct the pad, installation of drainage systems, installation of an oil water separation system, necessary modifications to the existing dewatering facility including new filtration structures and piping. The work includes all equipment, labor, material, and services required for the construction of the cold patch storage pad and the modifications of the dewatering facility as described in the project specifications and on the supplied plans.
All bids are to be returned to Jim Higgins, Engineering Division by 5:00 PM on January 29, 2009 at the Engineering Division at Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540.
The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined and/or obtained at the office of Engineering Division at Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540. Persons requesting shipment of documents shall bear the additional, non-refundable cost of shipment.
The Jacksonville City Council reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all bids, and to accept that Bid or Bids which appear to be in the Owner's best interest.
BID BOND: Each Bidder must deposit a five (5%) percent Bid Security with his/her Bid.
LICENSURE: BIDDERS must be properly licensed under Chapter 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes and under Municipal Code 11-9. A Business Privilege License is required to engage in business in the City of Jacksonville.
