Summary of Specifications:
The City of Jacksonville is requesting BIDS for the Chaney Creek/Phillips Park Restoration Project in JACKSONVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA, consisting of:
Description of Work: Project consists of the materials and labor for installation of approximately 200 linear feet of sediment fence; installation of approximately 350 linear feet of sediment boom an curtain; approximately 400 cubic yards of earthwork including: berm, depression, and terrace formation; installation of approximately 350 cubic yards of marl rip-rap bivalve structure with oyster shell fill; installation of approximately 350 lineal feet of Goetextile Fabric; approximately .35 acres of site tilling, preparation and seeding and installation of approximately 4000 square feet of erosion control blanket. All bids are to be sealed; with the Project Name and the words “BID ENCLOSED” clearly marked on the outside of the envelope, and returned to Deanna Young, Public Services, Engineering Division, Jacksonville City Hall, 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540 by 10:00am on August 30, 2007.
The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined and/or obtained at the office of Public Services, Engineering Division, Jacksonville City Hall. Persons requesting shipment of documents shall bear the additional, non-refundable cost of shipment. Each Bidder must deposit a five (5%) percent Bid Security with his/her Bid.
The City of Jacksonville reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all bids, and to accept that Bid or Bids which appear to be in the Owner's best interest.
