RFQ-091809 - Pump Station Grease Removal

Summary of Specifications:
Please provide a quotation for the removal and disposal of floating grease and solids, as well as settled sludge, from four City of Jacksonville pump station wet wells: Henderson PS, Brynn Marr PS, Ellis PS and the Main PS. Wet wells are to have heavy build up of grease and sludge removed and disposed of properly at a location provided by the Contractor and approved by the City and applicable regulatory NC State agency. All liquids are to be returned to the wet well to reduce the volume of material hauled off. The estimated quantity of grease and sludge to be removed is 28,000 gallons. Bids submitted are to be per gallon. After completion of work the City will pay the Contractor based upon the final number of gallons actually removed and disposed of. Quantity shall be determined by the disposal truck tickets that must be submitted with the request for payment. All questions regarding the work to be performed shall be directed to Wynne M.
