Summary of Specifications:
The work to be performed under this contract shall consist of the surface preparation and coating/painting of all interior and exterior surfaces for the Gum Branch elevated water storage tank owned and operated by the City of Jacksonville, North Carolina. The particulars of the Gum Branch Water Tank are; Capacity - 500,000 gallons; Tank Diameter - 55 feet; Height to Overflow – 95.7 feet; Riser Diameter - 60 inches; Number of Legs – 8; Leg Diameter – 30 inches. The Contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, equipment, and incidentals required to provide a protective coating system for all surfaces of the tank listed above.
