The City of Jacksonville is soliciting proposals from professional engineering Firms for geotechnical and construction materials testing services related to various water and sewer projects as well as other City projects. The word "Firm", "Testing Laboratory", and "Laboratory" are used interchangeably all having the same meaning as the one key agency responsible for Construction Materials Testing. The Firm would be for an on-call and as needed basis for a three-year term beginning July 1, 2018. At the sole discretion of the City, one or more Firms may be selected and awarded contracts under this RFQ.
The City will select Firms with which to negotiate contracts using a Qualifications Based Selection process. Selection will be based on demonstrated experience and expertise in construction materials inspection. The City also believes that other important traits for successful project execution are the ability of the Firm to work in partnership with City staff, management, and other consultants and contractors who may be part of a project and the ability of the Firm to respond in a timely manner to any issues that may arise.

See attached RFQ.  RFQ prevails over bidnet posting.
