The City of Jacksonville is soliciting Requests for Qualification (RFQ) to solicit proposals from qualified Firms to provide on-call professional engineering, surveying, electrical, structural and mechanical services for the City. The selected Firm(s) shall provide some or all of the scope of services listed in Section III and the submitted proposals shall identify which discipline the Firm can provide. The professional engineering services required would be for an on-call and as needed basis for a three-year term beginning July 1, 2018. At the sole discretion of the City, one or more Firms may be selected and awarded contracts under this RFQ.
The City will select Firm(s) with which to negotiate contracts using a Qualifications Based Selection process. Selections will be based on demonstrated experience and expertise in water and wastewater; streets and roadways; transportation impact analysis; stormwater systems; and parks and recreational facilities to include areas of planning, design, contract administration, and construction inspection. Successful project execution also includes the ability of the Firm to work in partnership with City staff, management, and other consultants and contractors who may be part of a project and the ability of the Firm to respond in a timely manner to any issues that may arise.
See attached RFQ for more information. RFQ prevails over bidnet posting.
