Summary of Specifications:
The City of Jacksonville is requesting BIDS for Northeast Creek Park Phase II Lighting Replacement Project located in Jacksonville, North Carolina.
The project is located at Northeast Creek Park in Jacksonville, NC. The light poles are located at baseball field #2. The work is to include the replacement of all existing above ground wiring, all existing above ground conduit, each ballast enclosure, all ballast and each disconnect switch on 6 lighting poles. All bids are to be returned sealed with the Project Name and the words “BID ENCLOSED” clearly marked on the outside of the envelope to Jim Higgins, Public Services, Engineering Division, Jacksonville City Hall, 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540 by 5:00 PM on October 10, 2008.
The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined and/or obtained at the office of Engineering Division, at Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540. Persons requesting shipment of documents shall bear the additional, non-refundable cost of shipment.
The Jacksonville City Council reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all bids, and to accept that Bid or Bids which appear to be in the Owner's best interest.
LICENSURE: BIDDERS must be properly licensed under Chapter 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes and under Municipal Code 11-9. A Business Privilege License is required to engage in business in the City of Jacksonville.
