The City of Jacksonville is requesting BIDS for the Northeast Creek Park Lighting Replacement Project in JACKSONVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA, consisting of:
The project is located at Northeast Creek Park in Jacksonville, NC. The light poles are located on field #1. The work is to include the replacement of all existing above ground wiring, all existing above ground conduit, each ballast enclosure and each disconnect switch on 6 lighting poles. All ballast is to be replaced at the installation of the new enclosures.
All bids are to be sealed; with the Project Name and the words “BID ENCLOSED” clearly marked on the outside of the envelope, and returned to Jim Higgins, Public Services, Engineering Division, Jacksonville City Hall, 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540 by 10:00am on January 10, 2007.
Bidding Documents may be examined at the office of the Owner, Engineering Division of Public Services, City Hall, 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540. Copies may be obtained from the offices of the Owner, Engineering Division of Public Services, City Hall, 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available. Neither the Owner nor the Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including any addenda, obtained from other sources. Persons requesting shipment of documents shall bear the additional, non-refundable cost of shipment.
The City of Jacksonville reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all bids, and to accept that Bid or Bids which appear to be in the Owner's best interest.
