Summary of Specifications:
The Jacksonville Urban Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (JUMPO) is seeking proposals from professional consulting firms to complete a NC 53 (Western Boulevard) Corridor Study.

The study area includes a section of NC 53 between Circuit Lane and Lejeune Boulevard (NC 24), including the intersection of Marine Boulevard (US 17) and NC 53, and a portion of Marine Boulevard (US 17) in the vicinity of NC 53, between the US 17 Bypass and Parkwood Drive, in Jacksonville, NC.

Requests for clarifications may be submitted in written or email format(aprinz@ci.jacksonville.nc.us) up to the close of business (5:00 PM EST) on June 22, 2011. Responses to the requests for clarifications shall be posted on the JUMPO webpage(www.jumpo-nc.org) by the close of business on June 29, 2011.

The Jacksonville City Council reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all bids, and to accept that Bid or Bids which appear to be in the Owner's best interest.
