Summary of Specifications:
Contract Mowing for B & G Maint. 2005 starting April 1, 2005 to September 30, 2005. All areas to be mowed every two weeks to include trim and litter pick-up unless otherwise noted. 1. From New Bridge St. to Chaney Creek Bridge, Canna St. and Chaney Ave. including Chaney Ave. Gateway. 2. Fire Station #4 mow every week. Retention pond area every two weeks and inside fence monthly. 3. Gateways – U. S. 17 North (include Welcome Sign – Empire Blvd.), Gum Branch(include Welcome Sign), Old Bridge St., Traingle. 4. Chaney Creek Bridge U. S. 17 North to Moore Buick including Marine Plaza Area. 5. Brookdale Plaza, from Indian Dr. to Cardinal Rd. 6. City Industrial Area – New Frontier Way 7. Henderson Dr. Powerlines Liability insurance of one million dollars required with City of Jacksonville listed has an additional insured. Necessary safety equipment used at all times.
Period of Contract After this initial contract period, the term of this contract shall be automatically renewed for two (2) additional, consecutive terms of one (1) year each if the Contractor and the City Mutually agree to the extension.
Notice of intent to renew will be given to the Contractor in writing normally sixty(60) days before the expiration date of the current contract. This notice shall not be deemed to commit the City to a contract renewal.
It should be noted that multi-year contracts might be continued each fiscal year only after the City of Jacksonville City Council has granted funding appropriations. In the event the necessary funding is not appropriated, then the affected multi-year contract becomes null and void, effective July 1 of the fiscal year for which such approvals have been denied.
Pricing The Contractor warrants that the pricing stated herein shall remain firm for the period of the initial term of the contract period. Pricing shall include all charges that may be imposed in fulfilling the terms of the contract. At least sixty(60) days prior to the end of the initial contract period and each consecutive one (1) year term, the Contractor shall submit in writing to the City of Jacksonville Public Services Department all proposed price adjustments for review.
