Description: Approximately 18,348 sf. Public Services Facility Approximately 15,000 sf Public Utilities Facility
Approximately 16,710 sf Fleet Maintenance Facility Approximately 5,546 sf Shelter No. 1 Approximately 5,546 sf Shelter No. 2 Approximately 1,946 sf Shelter No. 3 Approximately 787 sf Tire Storage Building All related site development, construction and miscellaneous items
Bids will be received by the City Clerk of the City of Jacksonville in Meeting Room A, City Hall, 211 Johnson Boulevard, Jacksonville, North Carolina 28541 until 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 10, 2003 and then at said office, publicly opened and read aloud.
The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined and/or obtained at the office of the Architect – EDApa 301 Commerce Ave., Suite 102, Morehead City, NC 28557 and 901 Hargett Street, Suite D, Jacksonville, NC 28540, City Hall, 211 Johnson Boulevard (P.O. Box 128), Jacksonville NC 28541. Persons requesting shipment of documents shall bear the additional, non-refundable cost of shipment. Plan deposit to be $200.00 per set for Bidders. No Partial Sets will be issued. Plan deposits are refundable only for Contractors submitting bids, provided all documents are returned in good condition no later than ten (10) days after the bid date. Plan deposits are refundable for only Contractors not submitting bids, provided all documents are returned in good conditions no later than ten (10) days prior to bid date.
Each Bidder must deposit a five (5%) percent Bid Security with his/her Bid as provided for in the Instructions to Bidders.
The Jacksonville City Council reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all bids, and to accept that Bid or Bids which appear to be in the Owner's best interest.
BIDDERS must be properly licensed under Chapter 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes.
The successful Bidder will be required to furnish 100% Contract Security as provided for in the Instructions to Bidders. Such security shall be in the form of a payment bond and a performance bond.
