Summary of Specifications:
Henderson Pump Station is a high flow sewer pump station located at 335 Henderson Drive, Jacksonville, NC. The City has contracted the by-pass pumping of this station with Godwin Pumps to allow for grease removal from the wet well (a 3-4 day process). To assist with this project, the City is seeking quotations for the following:
- Inserting two (2) 24" inflatable plugs: one in the manhole immediately adjacent to the station, and one in the influent channel inside the station (two for safety). The City will provide one (1) 24" - 42" inflatable plug and the Contractor shall provide one 1)inflatable plug. This work shall be coordinated with Godwin Pumps through the City of Jacksonville.
- While the station is in by-pass: removal of one section of force main piping inside the pump room for inspection by City Personnel for corrosion. Section of piping shall be placed back into the force main after the inspection.
Insurance requirements as follows: CITY OF JACKSONVILLE INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS PROFESSIONAL must obtain and provide proof of the following types of insurance with the dollar limits designated. 1. Worker’s Compensation Insurance: In accordance with North Carolina Statutory limits 2. Comprehensive General Liability Insurance: $1,000,000 Single Limit/ $2,000,000 Aggregate 3. Automobile Liability Insurance: $1,000,000 Single Limit. ADDITIONAL INSURED: The City of Jacksonville must be listed as an additional insured on the following insurance certificates: 1. Automobile Liability Insurance 2. Comprehensive General Liability Insurance 3. Umbrella Liability Insurance
Only quotations submitted by NC licensed Utility Contractors shall be accepted and deemed "responsible".
