I. Quotes Due All quotes are due on February 25, 2015 by 4:00 PM. Interested bidders must sign this Request for Quotes and either fax it to (910) 938-5031 or deliver to Roy Bredahl at the at the Transportation Services Division at Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540. 



II. Qualifications The City is exempt from Federal Excise Tax. Our Federal Tax Identification Number is 56-6000232. The City is not exempt from NC State & County Sales Tax. Such taxes shall be shown as a separate item on all invoices. 

III. Rights The Jacksonville City Council reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all quotes, and to accept that Quote or Quotes which appear to be in the Owner's best interest. 

IV. Inspection All materials/supplies shall be the subject of inspection by the Project Manager at time of delivery. 

V. Contractor’s Responsibilities The Contractor shall furnish a Heavy Duty Combination Brake Lathe. The Arber must be heavy duty to handle 300 pounds. Cabinet must include stand and back with pegs for storage of adapters. Adapters must include everything needed to handle up to a 1 ½ ton combination hub and rotor assembly.
