Summary of Specifications:
I. SCOPE OF WORK The City of Jacksonville is soliciting bids for scheduled preventative maintenance and repairs of City-owned generators, switches, and components. Work will include, but is not limited to, fluid changes, battery changes, load tests, and inspections. All work will be performed on location.
II. INTRODUCTION The City of Jacksonville owns and operates generators to be used for emergency purposes. To ensure proper working order, a scheduled maintenance needs to be performed.
III. PROPOSALS DUE All quotes are due on November 21, 2011 at 4:00 pm for Generator Maintenance. Interested bidders must sign this Request for Proposal and either fax it to (910) 938-5045 or deliver to Richard Sirois at the Public Services Division at Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540.
IV. AWARD OF BID The bid will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, taking into consideration quality, performance, and time individually for the generator maintenance.
V. RIGHTS The Jacksonville City Council reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all bids, and to accept that Bid or Bids which appear to be in the Owner's best interest. Owner reserves the right to award all or part of this Request for Proposals.
