Summary of Specifications:
The City of Jacksonville is requesting BIDS for the FY14 Waterline Replacement Project located in Jacksonville, North Carolina:
Description: The work to be performed under the Contract includes the installation and connection of approximately 2,335 feet water main of two (2”) inch waterlines, one (1”) inch residential service lines, reconnection of the existing water meters, and the associated work necessary to install new potable waterlines. Also included will be the abandonment of existing two (2”) inch waterlines, abandonment of an existing six (6”) inch waterline by filling with flowable fill; removal of the existing water valves; removal of a fire hydrant, and all associated excavation, concrete, site work and asphalt resurfacing work.
All bids are to be returned to Andrew Kassell by 3:00 p.m. on June 12, 2015 at the Engineering Division at Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540.
The City of Jacksonville will conduct a Pre-Bid Meeting at Jacksonville City Hall on June 3, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in Conference Room A&B, immediately followed by site visits.
