Summary of Specifications:
Sealed Bids from qualified Bidders for the construction of the Centralized Downtown Stormwater BMPs (SRF# CS370386-07) Bid No. FY 15-05 will be received, by the City Clerk of the City of Jacksonville, at Conference Room A&B, City Hall, 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540, until 3:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on February 5, 2015, at which time they will be publicly opened and read.
The project is to retrofit the storm water drainage system with the installation of two storm water wetlands. All of the wetlands require installation of erosion and sedimentation measures, partial clearing and grubbing, grading, seeding, and vegetation installation (containers). Other activities included in this project are inlet and outlet structures, construction and as-built survey, pipe installation, culvert replacement, asphalt repair and sign relocation.
Bids will be received on single prime contract basis. Bids shall be on a lump sum and/or unit price basis.
The City of Jacksonville will conduct a Pre-Bid meeting at City Hall, Conference Room A&B, on January 14, 2015 at 10:00 a.m., immediately followed by a site visit.
