- Proposals Due
The City of Jacksonville is soliciting proposals from individuals or firms with qualifications and related experience in Catering Services. If interested in providing Catering Services, proposals must be received no later than
September 8, 2018, 12:00pm EDT. Interested bidders may submit pricing electronically through BidNet Direct-North Carolina Purchasing Group https://www.bidnetdirect.com/north-carolina, or sign this Request for Proposals and send via email to mperez@jacksonvillenc.gov.
- Qualifications
If not currently a Vendor for The City of Jacksonville, the successful bidder must be able to provide a Vendor Application and W-9 to the City of Jacksonville. The City is exempt from Federal Excise Tax. Our Federal Tax Identification Number is 56-6000232. The City is
not exempt from NC State & County Sales Tax. Such taxes shall be shown as a separate item on all invoices.
- Rights
The Jacksonville City Council reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all bids, and to accept that Bid or Bids which appear to be in the Owner's best interest.
- Inspection
All materials and services shall be the subject of inspection by the Project Manager at time of delivery.
- Proposals to be Retained
Proposals are to remain valid through 05/16/2019.
- City of Jacksonville Insurance Requirements
Vendor must obtain and provide proof of the following types of insurance with the dollar limits designated. Additionally, Insurers must be licensed to do business in the State of North Carolina.
1. Worker’s Compensation Insurance: In accordance with North Carolina Statutory limits
2. Comprehensive General Liability Insurance: $1,000,000 Single Limit/ $2,000,000 Aggregate
3. Automobile Liability Insurance: $1,000,000 Single Limit
ADDITIONAL INSURED:
The City of Jacksonville must be listed as an additional insured on the following insurance certificates: Automobile Liability Insurance, Comprehensive General Liability Insurance, and Umbrella Liability Insurance
