Summary of Specifications:
The City of Jacksonville is requesting BIDS for the Brookview Force Main – Repairs Aerial Crossing project located in Jacksonville, North Carolina:
Description: This project consists of rehabilitating and repairing of up to seventy aerial force main supports by either removing, cleaning, reinforcing and/or coating existing structural steel, installing new FRP pile wraps and new FRP/Epoxy reinforcing wraps.
All bids are to be returned to Deanna Young by 5:00 p.m. on December 18, 2014 at the Engineering Division at Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540.
The City of Jacksonville will conduct a Pre-Bid Meeting at City Hall on December 3, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in Meeting Room A, immediately followed by site visits.
The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined and/or obtained at the office of Deanna Young, Capital Projects Administrator at Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540. Persons requesting shipment of documents shall bear the additional, non-refundable cost of shipment.
The Jacksonville City Council reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all bids, and to accept that Bid or Bids which appear to be in the Owner's best interest.
