Summary of Specifications:
The City of Jacksonville is requesting BIDS for the Bell Fork Road Sanitary Sewer Improvements project located in Jacksonville, North Carolina:
• Description: The project will consist of the installation of approximately 75 linear feet of 42-inch Steel Encasement with 24-inch restrained joint ductile iron pipe by bore and jack method, approximately 60 linear feet of 24-inch ductile iron pipe, approximately 40 linear feet of 12-inch ductile iron pipe, approximately three (3) manholes, and connection to the existing sanitary sewer system. Project will also consist of the removal/abandonment of existing sanitary sewer infrastructure.
All bids are to be returned to Andrew Kassell, Project Manger, by 3:00 p.m. on February 6, 2015 at the Engineering Division at Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540.
The City of Jacksonville will conduct a Pre-Bid Meeting at City Hall on January 21, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in Conference Room A&B, immediately followed by site visits.
The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined and/or obtained at the office of Andrew Kassell, Project Manager, Engineering Division, at Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540. Persons requesting shipment of documents shall bear the additional, non-refundable cost of shipment. Contract documents will be available electronically, or for a price of sixty-seven dollars ($67.00) per set.
