Summary of Specifications:
The City of Jacksonville is requesting BIDS for 39 Tallman Street Building Demolition Project located in Jacksonville, North Carolina:
• Description: The 39 Tallman Street Building Demolition Project includes the demolition of an approximately 75,000 square foot two story building and all related work. The building is located in Jacksonville, NC and is the site of the former Onslow County Tax Office. Scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the asbestos abatement; demolition and removal of the building and all contents and debris; abandonment and capping of the water and sewer utilities; rough grading and necessary select fill for positive drainage; and establishment of permanent ground cover.
All bids are to be returned to Deanna Young by 5:00 p.m. on September 17, 2015 at the Engineering Division at Jacksonville City Hall located at 815 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540.
The City of Jacksonville will conduct a Pre-Bid Meeting at City Hall on September 3, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in Meeting Room A&B, immediately followed by site visits.
