The JFD Water Rescue team is seeking quotes for a 150 HP 4-Stroke Outboard Motor with 20" Short Shaft to mount on its 18 ft. rescue boat. Must include the following specs and this is an all or nothing bid award. Additional Requirements: Flywheel damper, 35 amp alternator, twin balance shaft, large intake silencer, hydraulic tensioner, offset crankshaft, blow-by gas reburning system, high effocoent stainless steel propeller, labrynth exhaust system, cams must be belt driven and have a C.A.R.B. 3 star rating or more. Quote should include motor installation, binnacle, controls, and hydraulic steering. Dealer should be willing and able to provide engine service with a 24-hour turnaround time due to the nature of the use of this motor on a rescue boat. Any questions should be directed to Captain Ronald Mabee or Division Chief Barbara Russo at 910-455-8080.
