SCOPE:
The intent of these specifications is to purchase a complete rail gear system for a Kubota RTV-X1130WL-H to facilitate its use on railroad tracks. System will be delivered by the bid winner or shipped to the Warren County DPW Fleet repair shop located at 4055 Main St, Warrensburg, NY 12885.
GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS:
The rail gear system must be designed to bolt directly onto the above listed Kubota RTV without major modifications. Models such as Mitchell 0505, Wabtec R-180, or equal will be considered. Gear must be electric over hydraulic operation with an emergency hand pump, safety locks, suspension system, insulated wheels, greaseable moving parts, rail shunts, rail sweeps, derail guards, and any necessary hoses and wiring to make the system function. A full set of installation, use, and safety instructions as well as a complete parts manual is required.
