SCOPE:
Warren County is seeking bids for the purchase and installation of (2) 8’x 10’ Communication shelters. These shelters will house electronics equipment used for the County radio system. The shelters will be located (1) at the Verizon cell tower on Rt. 149 in Queensbury NY, and (1) at the Stony Creek Town Hall, Stony Creek, NY. Bidder will supply the buildings, prepare the site and install the buildings. The County will obtain permits and approvals as necessary for construction. The building specifications below are typical for a high quality communications equipment enclosure. Several brands and types may be considered if they meet all of the specifications and warranties listed below. This work is expected to be completed in the summer months of 2018.
FOUNDATION SITE PREPARATION:
Bidder may be responsible for set up of the foundation. Bidders must provide, with their bids, site preparation & foundation requirements for proper support of the shelters, in the event Warren County chooses to do the site work themselves. Separate pricing for site work & foundation is being requested on the proposal page.
