PUBLIC NOTICE

REQUEST FOR SEALED BIDS FOR THE REMOVAL OF BROKEN WHEELCHAIR LIFT AND THE PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF NEW WHEELCHAIR LIFT AT DOVER TOWN HALL
The Town of Dover seeks sealed bids from qualified vendors for the following municipal facilities improvement project:

removal and disposal of a broken (electric-powered) metal wheelchair lift and the
purchase and installation of a new two-stop wheelchair platform lift with front and rear

opening gates at Dover Town Hall, 126 East Duncan Hill Rd. in Dover Plains, NY.

The bid packet will be available starting on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at the Town Clerk’s Office, Dover Town Hall, 126 East Duncan Hill Rd., Dover Plains, NY; upon request to the Town Clerk’s Office at (845) 832-6111 (then Option 2 for the Town Clerk’s Office or by email at townclerk@doverny.us; on the Town of Dover’s website at https://www.doverny.us/bids and on Empire Purchasing Group/Bidnet website at https://www.bidnetdirect.com/new-york/town-of-dover.

Bids must be submitted in physical format in a sealed envelope labeled, “Town of Dover Wheelchair Lift Project” to the Town Clerk’s Office, Dover Town Hall, 126 East Duncan Hill Rd., Dover Plains, NY 12522 by 10 a.m. EST on Monday, April 28, 2025 when they will be opened and publicly read.
