Additional Bidding Instructions

Proposals shall be emailed no later than Friday September 5, 2025 at 4 pm EST. Proposals can be
emailed to Artied@townofcortlandt.com and MichaelP@Townofcortlandt.com . Questions can be
submitted via email until 12 noon on August 29, 2025.

The contractor shall examine the site and provide a LUMP SUM cost including all
supervision, labor, personnel, material, equipment, incidentals and ancillary support
necessary, unless otherwise noted herein to accomplish the work. In addition to the LUMP SUM
Cost, the Contractor shall include a unit price line item to furnish, place and compact 4” asphalt
concrete binder course (Type 3). This cost per square foot shall only apply to areas
outside of the trench limits/restoration areas around catch basins and paid for only if
needed. Contractor shall submit a schedule of values for the lump sum cost.

New York State Department of Labor Contractor Registry - New Law as of December 30, 2024
