The intent of this bid package is to provide the Town of Amherst (TOA) and the Water Pollution Control Facility (WPCF) with proposals from qualified respondents to supply progressive cavity pump parts for the repair or their Moyno Progressive Cavity Pumps numbers 1G090G1-CDQ, 2H1151G1-CDQ and 1K345G1-CDQ. These parts will be ordered on an “as-needed” basis, as determined by the Town of Amherst. The TOA has full intention of being open to an “OR EQUAL” alternative. “OR EQUAL” shall be “SOLELY” determined by the TOA and shall meet or exceed the functions and capabilities of the original OEM parts. The successful vendor or vendors will be awarded based on the lowest cost as seen by the Town of Amherst; all freight, delivery cost shall be included in the bid price as “NO ADDITIONAL COST WILL BE CONSIDERED
