SUFFOLK COUNTY WATER AUTHORITY SUFFOLK COUNTY NEW YORK NOTICE TO BIDDERS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: That sealed proposals for roofing and carpentry on chemical treatment buildings and on other structures at various pump stations in Suffolk County, NY, for the period November 1, 2016 through October 31, 2017 (with option to extend), will be received by the Purchasing Director of the Suffolk County Water Authority at 3525 Sunrise Highway, Great River, NY 11739, not later than 11:00 a.m., prevailing time, on August 18, 2016 at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Complete details and specifications relating to the proposed work are on file and publicly exhibited at the Purchasing Department of the Authority, 3525 Sunrise Highway, Great River, NY 11739, where copies of said documents may be obtained upon application. The Authority will hold a pre-bid meeting starting at 10:00 a.m. on August 10, 2016. The meeting will be at the Barton Avenue Well Field and Pump Station, located on the north side of Barton Avenue and the west side of Richmond Avenue (217 Barton Avenue), North Patchogue, Town of Brookhaven, NY.
