NOTICE TO BIDDERS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: That sealed proposals for roofing and carpentry
on chemical treatment buildings and other Authority-owned structures for the period
June 1, 2018 through May 31, 2019, will be received by the Purchasing Director of the Suffolk County Water Authority at 3525 Sunrise Highway, Great River, NY 11739, not later than 11:00 a.m., prevailing time, on May 4, 2018 at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Complete details and specifications relating to the proposed work are on file and publicly exhibited at the Purchasing Department of the Authority, 3525 Sunrise Highway, Great River, NY 11739, where copies of said documents may be obtained upon application. You may also register your company on our website at www.scwa.com and/or www.empirestatebidsystem.com and request "More Info" on Contract No. 7523.
The Authority will hold a pre-bid meeting starting at 10:00 a.m. on April 24, 2018. The meeting will begin at the Peconic Street Well Field and Pump Station, located on the south side of Peconic Street, east of 13th Avenue (360 Peconic Street), Lakeland, Town of Islip. It is strongly recommended that all prospective Bidders attend this meeting.
Minority and Women Owned Businesses are encouraged to bid.
